Remote Sensing is the study of the Earth's surface at a considerable distance by means of surveys from aircraft and space vehicles equipped with various types of surveying instruments for acquisition of information and thematic mapping of the objects under study.
The Earth Remote Sensing systems are classified as the passive systems (optic and electronic) to record reflected solar or intrinsic radiation, and the active systems (radar and laser) to record reflected artificial radiation.
As an official distributor of the leading ERS satellite operators, the Company delivers archive ERS data and places orders for planning new surveys from the optic and radar space vehicles.
When planning the space imagery, most favorable weather conditions are taken into account, various requirements are specified for survey conditions (time, cloud cover, deviation angles, etc.) and geometry of a site in question. Completion period is agreed upon with both a customer and a data operator in order to increase priority of surveys.
