First Photo from WorldView-4

DigitalGlobe presented the first picture of the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo (Japan), taken on November 26, 2016 from WorldView-4 satellite. It is the site of the 1964 Summer Olympics.

To recap, the ERS satellite WorldView-4 was set into on a sun-synchronous orbit on November 11, 2016 by Atlas V launch vehicle, from Vandenberg air force base (California, USA). The spacecraft will be operated by DigitalGlobe (WorldView-1, 2, 3 and GeoEye-1). The satellite is designed to acquire a daily coverage of areas of up to 680 thousand square kilometers with spatial resolution of 30 cm per pixel. The current record in the area of spatial resolution is 25 cm / pixel and accounts for WorldView-3.
