Mr. B.V.Geldyev, General Director of CRS and GIS "Terra", delivered a speech at the plenary session: Some results of using data of remote sensing by ASTER and WorldView 3 (SWIR) for detecting lithological varieties of rocks.
Mrs. E.P. Sutula, Director of RS and GIS Department of CRS and GIS "Terra", presented the results of the Company's long-term works on the analysis of remote sensing data to identify growth areas of narcotics-containing plants.
This year, this seminar it was dedicated to the experience and prospects of modern space technologies and is timed to the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence. The seminar was attended by foreign aerospace companies, remote sensing data operators, space agencies of foreign countries, as well as leading Kazakh companies, research institutes and universities.
